What should I include in a tattoo inquiry?
Please include a detailed description of the tattoo you are looking to get, reference photos, placement on your body, how big you want your tattoo, and style you’re looking for (realism, black and gray, traditional, color, etc.)
How far out are you booking?
I generally schedule appointments 3-6 months in advance
Is there a deposit?
I require a $50 deposit per hour booked in order to reserve time on my calendar. This deposit is non refundable and will be forfeited if you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment. It will be carried over if you reschedule with plenty of notice. Your deposit comes off of the price of the tattoo when you get it.
How much time should I book?
I have examples of my tattoos and how long each one took. Please look through and get an idea for how long the tattoo you have in mind will take! If you are still unsure please email me for exact time to book.
What is the email response time?
I set aside time each day to answer emails. I answer them in the order they are received and as quickly as possible! I will get to your inquiry within 1-2 weeks unless otherwise specified on my social media.
How should I care for my new tattoo?
The first wash is the most important! Wash your new tattoo with a basic, scent free antibacterial soap and water. From this point wash 2-3 times per day and in between washes you can keep a basic, non scented, white lotion on it. It will heal like a scrape wound. It will be sore for a few days followed by light scabbing. When the scabs come off it will appear shiny, this is your new skin growing over top. The whole process takes about 2 weeks.
How can I schedule a consultation?
Due to social distancing I will be doing all consultations via email! For this reason please be as specific as possible in describing your tattoo ideas! Include photos of reference, include all of the important details, like size, placement on your body, what style you want the tattoo done in, color, black and gray, etc. The more you give me, the more accurate my pricing and timing quotes will be!
Are there any tattoos you won’t do?
Yes! I DO NOT tattoo tribal or photo realistic portraits. I learned to tattoo as an American traditional artist and specialize in color, black and gray, stylized black and gray, dot work and fine lines.
What is your cancellation/ reschedule policy?
Unfortunately, if you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, you will need to start the booking process all over. Please keep in mind when you cancel, I have appointments already booked up to 3 months out, and you will most likely be waiting another 3 months to get back into an open slot in my schedule. Also, people that cancel less than 24 hours in advance, are less likely to be scheduled in the future. Please note, your required deposit to book your appointment is nonrefundable. The deposit will be applied to your tattoo price at each appointment.
Do you do cover up tattoos?
I only do cover up tattoos that don’t look like cover up tattoos! If you are seeking a cover up tattoo, please include a picture of what you currently have that you need covered, and your ideas that you would want to cover it with. As a general rule, cover ups have to be about 3 times the size of what you are covering. The only thing that covers black, is black. So be prepared to go larger and darker! Be open to your design! I need an idea from you, my job is to make it look best as a brand new tattoo!
Can I book multiple appointments at once?
You can schedule as many appointments at a time as you would like! I offer one, two, and three hour sessions . I don’t tattoo longer than 3 hours, because that’s the point that I begin to mentally rush your design, and I want to ensure everyone gets the best possible tattoo!
How much is a tattoo?
all tattoos vary in size, detail, and pricing, so I charge hourly! I have a minimum one hour appointment time. If your tattoo will not take me one hour, you will be charged for the full hour. My personal rates are:
ONE HOUR – $150
TWO HOURS – $250
THREE HOURS -$350
Can I see my tattoo design before my appointment?
I draw everything the morning of your appointment to assure your design is fresh in my head. Even then, all you will see is a basic stencil for layout and size. The artwork is done custom on your skin.
How much will my tattoo cost?
Pricing depends on the size, location on your body, amount of detail, and color or black and gray. You will have the option to book one, two, or three hours with me. I can achieve as much as possible in the time you allot me. I have set prices per hour listed above. I also have photo examples of my work and exactly how much time each one took for reference.
